The client

Sportclubby’s mission is to shorten the distance between federations, clubs and sport practitioners by transforming how sport is practiced.

The problem

Their brand was lacking a clean, modern look. They came to Donux for help creating the company’s brand and building a website that would help them with their next step: rolling out internationally into Europe.

Solution

Donux listened to their needs and helped build a plan for the remodelling of the brand and the marketplace, for both desktop and mobile. Over 3 months, we systematically redesigned the entire marketplace page by page to build the new one that stands today.

Conclusion & takeaways

Redesigning a brand can be tricky because you don’t start with a blank slate - you need to build upon the company’s history and current image. For this reason, we all agreed that it was better to build the site page by page, week by week.

The huge plus of this method was that we could quickly propose designs for pages and build up the company’s new image. If there were issues or disagreements about the new brand image, they could be seen quickly and tackled head on before it was too late to change.

The project ended extremely successfully: the entire website was built in less than 2 months and helped Sportclubby roll out their business into France, Spain and the UK.
