## Product teams are still flying blind

ProblemImplication

### Events are tracked but nobody built dashboards on top of them.

The data exists. The insight doesn't.

### Google Analytics tells you nothing about in-product behavior.

You can't justify product investment with gut feelings.

### You launch features but can't measure their impact.

You keep building the wrong things.

### Your dev team has no time to set up proper tracking.

Every sprint is a guess. No clear hypothesis or success metric.

## What we build

Product analytics views built around your product features.

### Activation funnels

Where users drop off on the path to value. The dashboard that drives every onboarding review.

### Retention and cohorts

Which cohorts stick, which churn, and when. Built on the metrics that matter for your growth model.

### Feature adoption

Which features get used, by whom, and how often. The data your team needs to prioritize.

### Custom product views

Engagement trends, DAU/WAU/MAU, revenue attribution. The views your team needs for planning and investor updates.

> The team is made up of capable people, with experience in large scale-up SaaS companies. Building our design system early on with Donux helped us to design high-quality features faster.

## How we build your product analytics dashboard in 4 steps

1. ### Map the decisions

What decisions does your team need to make? We interview stakeholders and map the product questions your dashboard needs to answer.

2. ### Track the events

If the events you need aren't tracked yet, we set up the tracking plan and implement it.

3. ### Build and configure

We connect the right data sources and set up the dashboards in your analytics tool.

4. ### Handoff and training

Documentation, a walkthrough with your team, and a working dashboard ready for your next product review.

## Before you start.

### Who is this for?

Product teams, founders, and heads of product at B2B SaaS companies who need visibility into what's happening inside their product. Activation, retention, feature adoption: the metrics that drive product decisions.

### What analytics tools do you work with?

We adapt to whatever you're using. PostHog, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, or anything else. If you don't have a tool yet, we recommend PostHog.

### What if our events aren't tracked yet?

We handle that too. Step two of our process is setting up the tracking plan and implementing the events you need. You don't need to have everything in place before we start.

### How do you decide what goes into the dashboard?

We start with the decisions your team needs to make, then work backward to the metrics. The questions come first. The dashboard follows.

### How long does it take?

A first conversation defines the relevant scope, dependencies and investment. For an existing product transformation, we confirm what fits the 90-day delivery window before kickoff. A focused supporting engagement is scoped separately.

### Can you work with our existing setup?

Yes. If you already have an analytics tool and partial tracking, we build on top of what's there. No need to start from scratch.

### Can you help us act on the data and run experiments?

Yes. Our [Product Analytics service](https://donux.com/services/product-analytics) covers the full picture: proper tool setup, tracking plan, dashboards, and ongoing Data Sprints where we analyze the data, design experiments, and help you grow. The dashboard is the starting point.
