How Giacendo turned a complex legal procedure into a guided workflow

Giacendo, developed by Networklex, is a legal tech platform for the professionals appointed to manage unclaimed inheritances in Italy.

The job is a long procedure of communications, investigations, inventories and accounting, each step with its own deadlines and documents. Networklex wanted an MVP that tells curators what to do, how and when, and takes the operational weight off their shoulders.

We broke the procedure into its phases, from the initial activities to closing. Each phase became a set of activities with a status and a due date, and progress counters show at a glance what's done and what comes next.

Each case gets its own workspace for activities, inventory, accounting and documents. A current assets view turns assets and liabilities into a readable summary, so curators always know the net value of the estate.

Document templates are organized by procedure phase, and guided activity pages generate the paperwork as curators fill in the details.

Alongside the MVP we designed the Giacendo website, with a demo request flow, and a partners section where curators can find lawyers and accountants by court and service.

Giacendo has a product and a website that speak the same language to the same professional audience. After the MVP we kept working together, with a dedicated sprint on the website's partner section.
